To pay tribute to the loss of 17 Afghan Sikh and Hindus in the recent attack in Jalalabad city, Nangarhar, Dr. Shaida Mohammad Abdali, the Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in New Delhi extended condolence to the Afghan Sikh community in a gathering organized by the Indian Sikh community in Gurdwara Rakab Ganj Sahib on July 9, 2018.

This gathering was also attended by Gen. VK Singh the State Minister for External Affairs, India.

During his remarks, the Afghan Ambassador stated that it wasn’t an attack on Afghan Sikh and Hindus, but was an attack on the entire Afghan nation and its unity. He also called upon India and Afghanistan to further strengthen their resolve against the common threats and challenges faced by both countries.

Dr. Abdali added that the government of Afghanistan is ready to extend any kind of assistance to the Sikh and Hindu Communities in Afghanistan.
