The Economic Section of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in New Delhi has the honour to extend the invitation of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) professionals and companies in India to attend and /or exhibit their product at the 1st International ICT Conference and Exhibition in Kabul -Afghanistan.

The conference which will be held on September 24-26, 2013 in Kabul will be attended by Ministers of Communication and Information Technology of more than 20 countries of the world, foreign ambassadors based in Kabul, University professors, Telecom and Internet companies, Policymakers and Investors of Information and Technology firms, national and International suppliers and supporters of technology services.

With “ICT for Human Development” as the main theme running throughout the conference, it is intended to provide a venue for dialogue between telecommunication and ICT ministers, policy makers, regulators, industry, academia, regional and international development agencies that are engaged in telecommunications and ICT related activities. This conference will also provide a unique opportunity to meet with business community and explore possibilities for investment in the areas of hardware and software as well as skill development. In addition, this conference will present an opportunity to appreciate the growing role of ICT in the socio-economic development in the context of regional connectivity.
